Baitiq ("Baitiq," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information when you use our website, mobile application, platform, and related services.

Baitiq is a real estate platform that allows real estate agencies, brokers, developers, and users to publish, browse, manage, and interact with property listings, projects, and related real estate services.

By using Baitiq, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account or use Baitiq, we may collect:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Profile picture
• Password or authentication details
• Agency or company name
• Agency type
• Business contact details
• User role and account permissions

1.2 Property and Listing Information

When you create, publish, or manage listings, we may collect:

• Property title and description
• Property location
• Property price
• Property type
• Property features and amenities
• Photos, videos, and other media uploaded by users
• Project information, including project status, units, features, and availability
• Contact details shown on listings

1.3 Verification and Communication Information

To help verify users, agencies, and listings, we may collect:

• Phone number
• Email address
• Business information
• Communication history with our support team
• Requests, complaints, or inquiries submitted through the platform

1.4 Device and Technical Information

When you use Baitiq, we may automatically collect technical information such as:

• Device type
• Operating system
• App version
• Browser type
• Device identifiers
• Usage logs
• Crash reports
• General location based on device or listing activity, where applicable

1.5 Location Information

Baitiq may use location information to support features such as:

• Displaying property locations on a map
• Helping users find nearby properties
• Showing agency office locations
• Improving search and filtering results

We do not collect precise location data unless it is required for a feature and permitted by the user.

1.6 Media and Gallery Access

If you choose to upload property photos, project images, agency logos, or profile pictures, Baitiq may request access to your device gallery or selected media files.

We only use this access to allow you to select and upload images or videos to the platform. We do not access your full media library without your permission.

1.7 Google Calendar Information

Baitiq allows users to optionally connect their Google Calendar account to sync property-viewing appointments and booking-related events.

If a user chooses to connect Google Calendar, Baitiq may access limited calendar functionality only for the purpose of creating, updating, and cancelling booking events related to the user's activity on Baitiq.

Baitiq only creates, updates, or cancels Google Calendar events that were created by Baitiq itself. Baitiq does not read, edit, delete, or manage unrelated calendar events.

The purpose of this access is limited to syncing Baitiq property-viewing appointments, including bookings made by users and bookings received by agents, brokers, agencies, or developers.

Users can disconnect Google Calendar and revoke access at any time from:

1.8 Purchase and Subscription Information

If you purchase a subscription or add-on pack through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing, we receive limited purchase information from Apple or Google so that we can verify the purchase and activate the related plan or credits on your Baitiq account. This information may include:

• The product purchased and its plan or pack type
• Transaction, order, or receipt identifiers
• Purchase tokens or signed receipts used to verify the purchase
• Subscription status, renewal, expiry, and cancellation information

Payments are processed by Apple or Google. We do not receive or store your full payment card number or other full payment credentials.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage user accounts
• Allow users and agencies to publish property listings
• Display listings, projects, agencies, and related content
• Enable users to search, filter, and view properties
• Allow communication between users, agencies, brokers, and developers
• Verify accounts, listings, and agency information
• Improve the performance, security, and reliability of Baitiq
• Provide customer support
• Send important service notifications
• Prevent fraud, misuse, spam, and unauthorized activity
• Comply with legal obligations
• Analyze usage trends and improve our services

When you connect Google Calendar, Baitiq uses the connected calendar access only to:

• Create property-viewing appointment events in your Google Calendar
• Update appointment events if the booking time, status, or details change
• Cancel or remove appointment events created by Baitiq when the related booking is cancelled
• Sync only your Baitiq booking-related appointments

Baitiq does not access or modify unrelated calendar events.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Where applicable, we process your personal data based on one or more of the following legal grounds:

• Your consent
• The performance of a contract with you
• Our legitimate business interests
• Compliance with legal obligations
• Protection of our platform, users, and services

4. Sharing of Information

We may share your information in the following cases:

• Property photos and descriptions
• Agency name and contact details
• Broker or agent contact information
• Public profile information
• Project and unit information

4.2 With Service Providers

We may share data with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate Baitiq, such as:

• Hosting providers
• Cloud storage providers
• Analytics providers
• Authentication providers
• Customer support tools
• Notification and messaging providers
• Map and location service providers
• App store billing providers (Apple In-App Purchase and Google Play Billing) that process payments and send us purchase verification data

These providers are only allowed to process your information as necessary to provide their services to us.

4.3 With Social Media Platforms

Baitiq may allow agencies, brokers, developers, or authorized business users to connect their Meta social media accounts, including Facebook Pages and Instagram Professional accounts.

When an agency chooses to connect its Meta accounts, Baitiq may use the connection to publish listing-related content from Baitiq directly to the connected Facebook or Instagram account.

This feature is optional and is only used when the agency connects its account and chooses to use social media publishing features.

The information shared with Meta platforms may include:

• Property listing images
• Property descriptions
• Property details, such as price, location, type, and features
• Agency name, profile, or contact information
• Project or unit information
• Social media account identifiers necessary to complete the posting action

Baitiq uses Meta access only to support the agency's requested social media posting actions. Baitiq does not sell Meta account data and does not use connected Meta accounts for unrelated purposes.

Agencies can disconnect their Meta accounts and revoke access at any time from:

Use of Facebook, Instagram, or other Meta services is also governed by Meta's own terms and privacy policies.

4.4 For Legal and Safety Reasons

We may disclose information if required to:

• Comply with applicable laws or legal requests
• Enforce our terms and policies
• Protect the rights, safety, and property of Baitiq, users, or others
• Investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents

5. Data Storage and Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

These measures may include:

• Access controls
• Encryption where appropriate
• Secure authentication
• Monitoring and logging
• Regular security reviews
• Restricted access to personal data

However, no online platform can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for keeping their account credentials secure.

• Prevent fraud and abuse

When your data is no longer needed, we may delete, anonymize, or securely store it in accordance with applicable laws.

7. Account Deletion

You can delete your Baitiq account directly in the app at any time from Profile > Delete Account. You may also request account deletion by contacting us using the details below.

Please note that deleting your Baitiq account does not cancel an active subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions must be cancelled separately in your device store settings.

When an account is deleted, we may remove or anonymize personal information associated with the account, unless we are required or permitted to retain certain data for legal, security, fraud prevention, accounting, or dispute resolution purposes.

Some public content, such as listings or communications already shared with others, may remain visible for a limited period or may be retained where necessary for legitimate business or legal reasons.

If you connected Google Calendar or Meta social media accounts, deleting your Baitiq account or revoking the integration may stop future syncing or posting. Events or posts that were already created on Google Calendar, Facebook, or Instagram may remain available on those third-party services unless removed directly from those services or where deletion is supported through Baitiq.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

If you enable notifications, Baitiq may send push notifications related to:

11. Connected Third-Party Accounts

Baitiq may allow users, agents, agencies, brokers, or developers to connect third-party accounts to enable optional platform features.

Google Calendar

Users may optionally connect Google Calendar to sync Baitiq property-viewing appointments and booking-related events.

Baitiq's Google Calendar access is limited to creating, updating, and cancelling events created by Baitiq. Baitiq does not access, edit, delete, or manage unrelated calendar events.

The calendar connection is used only to sync Baitiq bookings to the user's Google Calendar.

Users can revoke Google Calendar access at any time from:

Users may also revoke access directly from their Google Account permissions page.

Meta, Facebook, and Instagram

Agencies may optionally connect Meta accounts, including Facebook Pages and Instagram Professional accounts, so that property listings or project posts created in Baitiq can also be published to their connected social media accounts.

Baitiq uses this access only to publish content requested or configured by the agency. Baitiq does not use connected Meta accounts for unrelated purposes.

Agencies can revoke Meta access at any time from:

12. Third-Party Links and Services

Baitiq may contain links to third-party websites, social media platforms, payment providers, map services, or external tools.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or policies of third-party services. We encourage users to review the privacy policies of those services before using them.

13. Children's Privacy

Baitiq is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete such information.

14. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we take appropriate measures to protect your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy.

If the changes are significant, we may notify users through the app, website, email, or other appropriate means.
